Great feeling.

If I made a movie out of the story that I've had running through my head for the last 4 odd years this would star several of the scenes. It carries the feeling of the title brilliantly and you've done a great job of building around the original melody, if you can you should orchestrate it, it'd come out really well.

shadow6nothing9 responds:

This is a very personal song to me that I made, and I'm working on building upon this song right now and I'm curious to hear an idea for your story, maybe it will help Pm me.

Thanks for the review

Good.

I'll be straight, this is a very good song, and you have talent, but this song doesn't warrant a 4.5, perhaps a 3.5 would have been better. Why? Because of the the following reasons.... First is that it's a bit repetative, and secondly... do you have any idea how good this would sound if you did a proper orchestration!!! I mean from 1 -40 you could have that tune then at around 40 you begin a slow crescendo adding in strings and a low thundering layer of drums to about 1.00 where it should be at around fever pitch from anticipation... then you bring in the brass and increase the drum levels, big booming ones, along with strings do the main tune till around 1.40 then after that slowly bring it to a fade out.
This song has a great tune but you could really really improve on it. Come on see if you can!

Jebbal responds:

Did you read my author comments! I AM planning on extending this song! Fully orchestrated of course. Thanks for showing this little tune some love! I love it too so lets be cousins.

Review: [Appreciated!]

Now go ask an admin to raise your score to a 10. 8 is just not high enough.

Good, Good.

It's good, but nothing spectacular, nice and calming, I quite like it, it has a nice soothing quality although perhaps a bit more background might have been nicer.

BlazingDragon responds:

I think the bass overwhelmed the piano piano and some of its subtleties. :( I need to work on that. :P

Thanks for the review!

Very very good.

Everybody I'd like to have your attention for a moment please,it seems we have a new musical genius in the house! Please stand and give him your appreciation.
Seriously, I've been here for a while and all I can say is that you are definitely in the top artist category. Nice going and keep the feeling in your music, it's what really makes you great.

kelwynshade responds:

Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.

Woah woah woah!

Woah dude you just grabbed my heart and squeezed.... hard! Holy smokes! It makes me feel funny inside. Amazing! Oh man I love this song. Intense emotion, beautiful instruments, love the drums. Great quality, heck you just made yourself one of my favourite artists!

kelwynshade responds:

Haha. Nice. This is another one of those songs where I chose an instrument, hit record, and just made it up as I went.

Glad you liked this one.

Good.

This was a well made piece, especially with that flute. A lot of feeling put into it, but I imagined something more like after the battle when the hero thinks on what has been lost and gained and what hasn't changed rather than knights sitting by a fire. Some bass brass would do very well to add little to the background. Probably make it grander too. Have you ever heard a large group of brass send out their thundering, ground-shaking music into the air. It's majestic.

kelwynshade responds:

Agreed. This is a piece I made about 5 years ago and have always wanted to redo it using the knowledge I have now to make it something truly grand.

Errrr...

Well.... if your hoping for sympathy you won't get it. i won't penalize you for putting this song in the classical forum, I don't think it should be here but still one can't always be too sure where to put a song. It's alright but a bit monotonous, you need to add in fresh changes to a piece, not have the same loop going all the time. And if you do have a loop going change it, move it around, add other things in etc. Oh yes, The song needs a better finish, something less abrupt or else it sounds only half finished. On the up side, it has a nice, bright tune and actually made me feel a little bit happier so well done. It's good but could do with a it of improvement.

jkrox4eva responds:

thanks for the review, but its a loop, so no ending here.

Nice.

Grrrrr this is unfair, I've had more than enough times where the author of a song has berated me for poor quality reviewing and I'm looking for someone's song to tear apart and I keep coming up with Very Good, Nice, I like it. Darn you guys, the classical sections improving and changing too much! Darn you for your brilliant piano playing, did I here Milkman Dan at around 5:00, no matter, a musician should play from the heart and you've done that superbly. Well Done. Two thumbs up.

Jabicho responds:

That's awesome, thanks for the amazing review.
Lol, I think your reviews are great so don't worry about me =P

Ahem

I hate you and your music skills, I was gonna knock you down a few points just out of random spite towards the guy at the near top and instead you have me hitting the 5... again! Well done Bosa, once again.

Bosa responds:

Ouch! I'm glad that you're honest, so I admire that.

Good...

The piano was good, and I can see you tried hard to make it sound realistic etc but at some parts the song 'fumbled' a bit so it didn't flow well enough. Quite good but I think a bit of strings in the baackground to add a creepy feeling with low, heavy drums rumbling would be good as extras.

Valtrix responds:

Yep, definitely understand where you're coming from. These songs I've been working on with piano just to help hone my melody-building skills, because I don't want to get too stuck with more technical aspects right now.

I'm a Christian, and I'm perfectly willing to debate theology if you want.
